AHHH! Cebu, as in Cebu, Philippines. Oh my goodness, last time I was in the Philippines, my parents treated us to a trip there. I highly recommend it. It's like Manila (the capital of the PI) but is much cleaner and safer. They have a great mall, great food and the people there are friendlier than those in Manila. I love Manila but the humidity, smog and crime is outrageous.



My good friend is Korean, and Cebu has a high Korean population. Anyway, my good friend lived there because her father was transferred there for work. She loved it.

Cebu is great. If you like the beach or resorts, they have that but it is a little far from the city. The food is good. The fruits are shipped from Davao and are really fresh and good. It is more expensive (by PI standards) than other cities in that region, but I think it is worth it.

i highly recommend you visit cebu. cebu city is the queen city of the south (in the philippines). it is highly urbanized like metro manila but with less traffic, cleaner and safer. it is the most accessible place to and from all points in the country, with more domestic air and sea linkages than even manila. it has a well-balanced infrastracture and yet within minutes from the heart of cebu city are wonderful resorts and beaches. food is great (their lechon is one of the best in the country and their are alot of seafoods and fruits available). and it has a night life equal to that of metro manila

You can do a lot of things in Cebu. Either for business, R&R, or simply knowing the history of the Philippines. You also have access to visit its neighboring islands.

If you like big Cities Cebu is allright.

I prefer smaller cities like Iloilo and Bacolod in the Visayas.

Cleaner, safer and cheaper.

Cebu is like a little manila with nice beach! :)
